Trekking , a journey on foot especially in the mountain areas is adventurous for nature lovers enjoying hand in hand with the beauty of nature travelling from one place to another.To perform this activity ther are many suitable places in the world.Trekking can be adventurous or athletic depending on the participants decision.
To enjoy trek we need not require any earlier experience or special equipments.
Following are the few tips to be followed while trekking :-

Good pair of boots (not new), long socks, water proof backpack , camping tent and thin rain coat which covers you and your backpack .

Carry first aid tool kit ,water bottle,spare clothes and a sweater.

Learn before starting for trek how to pitch a tent which is useful in case of rains.

Carry torch light ,water proof match sticks ( the tips coated with wax ),candles,well length stiff rope,insect repellents.

Make sure that the backpack is as light as possible.

The backpack should be distributed equally over the shoulder pads and use a hip belt so that the weight is balanced around the waist.

Carry magnetic compass and a map.

If we are suppose to prepare a meal carry a stove making sure of spare fuel. carry light water proog sleeping bag.

Gather information from guide books about the place you are going to trek and talk to the local people.

If while travelling in mass make sure the supplies are enough or not.

The travel time must always be over estimated.No deadlines should be set.

Have patience at all times because it may take even more time for cooking ,shelter than expected.
