]]> As the New Year coming nearer by we love to enjoy the event with our family, friends etc….they are some places we select to celebrate the event. We plan our year-end vacation long before we do our birthdays, anniversaries, and even if there is any big party we look forward to celebrate them.

December accompanies the party which collects beat from the start of Christmas Eve and often continues for the pair of weeks of the New Year. On this event, we bring you the best New Year’s Eve party destinations and what makes them so prevalent.

1. Goa:

Goa is India’s smallest state, situated in west India in the region. It is the authentic mixture of sun, sand and psychedelic. The beaches of Goa are in advance of other beaches in India in rapports of popularity and facilities available. They are some of the beaches like: Colva, Miramar beach, Dona Paula, Anjuna, Vagator, Arambol beach, Palolem, calangute etc… The beaches here have been believed as a matter of life, there are colorful cuisines backing the pleasure of having fun on sun and sand, and water sports facilities that include from water scooters to water sliding. You can tap your legs for some time with a glass of fenny and beer, engaged in shopping on beach side, or have midnight bonfire on beach.

]]> Christmas vacation planning is one of the greatest ways to celebrate the holiday season. It is a great time to spend this occasion with family and friends. Some destinations are more unpredicted, but upon closer scrutiny having unique Christmas traditions in the way we might never have think about. It’s more from Santa’s home base and natural climate, but Christmas gets going early in December, and after the 25th becomes an extreme couple of week event filled with food, drink, family and parties. They are some places where we can celebrate this auspicious occasion and make them memorize till upcoming Christmas.

1. Edinburgh

Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland; it is the largest city by region and the second largest by inhabitants in the country. The city of Edinburgh council governs one of the Scotland’s local government zones. The Church of Scotland privileges the leading membership of any religious value in  dinburgh. They are 83 congregations in the Church of Scotland’s .The most prominent church is St. Giles Cathedral, while St Cuthbert’s, situated at the west end of Princes Street Gardens and in the gumshoe of Edinburgh Castle, lays right to being the oldest Christian site in city, although its glorious and sole building premeditated by Hippolyte Blance eras mainly from the dawn 19th century. Other Church of Scotland churches include Greyfriars Kirk Barclay Church, St Andrew’s, St George Church, and Canongate Church. In the south east of the city is the 12th century Duddingston Kirk. The offices of Scotland churches are in Edinburgh.

2. Aspen – Colorado

Aspen is a town, Pitkin Country, Colorado, United States. It is the county seat of Pitkin County and it is located in a remote area of the mountains called Rocky’ Sawatch Eange, along the river called Roaring Fork River at the height just below 8,000 feet above sea level on the western slope, 11 miles (18 km) west of the Continental Divide. As of the2012 poll, there were 7,858 permanent residents.

3. Paris

Paris is the capital as well as largest city of France. Paris is world’s leading business, cultural centers, education, Entertainment, science and to its status. Paris is famous for “city of lights”. Paris cannot be compare with any other city in terms of the decoration and the events take place at the time of the Christmas. During Christmas people have fun at restaurants, open air bars, and French cuisine with the family and friends. Specialty of Paris is its very large network of small movie theatres, another specialty of Paris is about they tourism.

4. Mysore

St. Philomena’s church was built in the honor of St. Philomena in Mysore. It was constructed in the year 1936 and its design was motivated by the cologne cathedral in Germany. A church was built at the same location by the Mummadi Maharaja. The Maharaja of Mysore positioned the foundation pebble of the church on Oct 28, 1933. In his tongue on the day of the inaugural ceremony, the Maharaja was quoted to have said- The new church will be powerfully and strongly built upon a double foundation-divine concern and enthusiastic gratitude of men.

]]> Delaware Art Museum with it`s awesome exterior view is located at Wilmington, Delaware (DE). As the name itself says it`s a Museum, and it has collection of all American art & illustration from 19 th century, and it`s been a place to all new arts which came from 19th century to 21st century.

In 2005 Delaware Art Museum with all new changes of renovation of the existing 60,000 square foot building with additions of over 40,000 square feet attracted many more visitors by reopening it in Wilmington. Now the Museum has much more extensions like 3 new Museum wings, arts education program, the Thronson cafe, offices, meeting places and total place of 80,000 square feet.

Lovely thing about Delaware Art Museum is that it always thinks and strives about going green! Which is very important now-a-days. There are few ways by which Museum supports and encourages going green. I will list only few things, as there are many ways that the Museum is working on.

1. Use post-consumer products
2. Saving energy with new boilers and chillers by reducing wasted energy.
3. Use Energy Star rated equipments throughout the Museum.
4. Recycling paper by a program which collects over 2.5 tons of paper annually, and this saves 40 trees a year.
5. Automated water and lights to reduce the waste usage.

Only these 5 points can say that they are really striving hard for the environment.

]]> This is one of the must visit sites in Greece; in fact in entire Europe. The Acropolis of Athens commonly referred as Acropolis has got a lot of cultural and historical significance backing it up. Out of those few cult associated monuments, this ranks top. Acropolis of Athens is preeminent among the European cultural heritage list of monuments. It is one of the most celebrated monuments in Greece situated 490 feet above sea level on top of a flat rock in the city of Athens.

It consists of the remains of buildings and temples build precisely back in 437 BC. Though they end up as remains now, owing to some internal explosion happened back in 1600s, it was very robustly build and was in great shape until then. Friezes and decorations are one of the prime attractions and take us in time travel.

The temples: Athena Nike, Erechtheion, Parthenon are the three main temples in the site filled with the inscriptions and paintings of battles are a treat to eye. The must of three is Parthenon dedicated to Greek goddess Athena Parthenos constructed almost entirely from pentelic marble.

Most of the friezes and decorations remained after the explosion were stolen by an English ambassador and end up in British Museum; can find them there now. Until the restoration after Greek liberation, most of buildings on the Acropolis was used as churches and homes for turks. Restoration become the national priority after the liberation.

The Acropolis can only be entered from the west; the other three faces are bordered by cliff faces. Propylaea, the monumental gateway to the Acropolis can be easily arrived either by walk or through some transport which are abundantly available there.

]]> Araku is one of the beautiful hill stations of Andhra Pradesh which is located at a distance of 120 kilo meters from Visakhapatnam. It is also known as the “Ooty” of Andhra Pradesh. This valley covers an area of 36Km and an altitude ranging from 600m to 900m.The famous Borra caves are located in the Ananthagiri hills of araku valley which are one of the largest and deepest caves in India. The elevation of the caves is about 705m and is basically karstic limestone structures. These caves usually extend to a depth of 80m. Ananthagiri hills are also famous for the coffee and oil plantations.

If you plan to visit araku valley in andhrapradesh then it is better to go by train so that you can enjoy the scenic beauty of the valley as the train passes through the tunnels and hills. This valley contains the most beautiful waterfalls and gardens which provides relaxation to the visitor’s mind. It is one of the wonderful places to visit during summer and enjoy the cool breeze.

]]> The small volcanic island of Lanzarote boasts some of the most surreal scenery on the planet. Created by eruptions during the 1730´s and 1820´s which totally reshaped much of the islands interior. Turning lush farmland into a barren wasteland.

Today the twisted terrain of the Timanfaya Volcano Park is the islands number one tourist attraction. And little wonder as the scenery here really is breathtaking – creating the impression that one has landed on a different planet to earth altogether. Many film directors agree – as the region has been used as the backdrop for a number of big budget science fiction classics and will shortly be enjoying a starring role in the new release Clash Of The Titans 3. Which stars Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson and which is expected in cinemas in early April.

Away from the volcanic region though Lanzarote offers all of the more usual attractions associated with a holiday island, such as wonderful beaches and a wide choice of restaurants.

Tourism first started out here in what was then a small coastal village called La Tiñosa in the late 1960´s. At the time Lanzarote was regarded as a novel and slightly mysterious new holiday destination – located just off the coast of Morocco. With little development and few roads. All that has changed today though as La Tiñosa is now Puerto del Carmen – the largest resort on the island. Whilst the infrastucture has also been developed too in order to cope with the 1.4 million tourists who arrive on flights to Lanzarote every year.

There are also lots of different places for these visitors to stay on the island. With a large selection of Lanzarote villas and apartments available to visitors. Along with over 200 hotels – the bulk of which are located in the resort of Playa Blanca at the southern end of the island. Which makes an ideal base for anyone planning to visit the volcanic region as it is just a fifteen minute drive away.

Lanzarote is also home to some of the best beaches in the Canaries – boasting close to 100 superb stretches of sand. Such as the bright white grains of Caleton Blanco close to the ferry port of Orzola. And the charming little seaside village of Arrieta and its beach Playa la Garita. Exploring the island is best done on four wheels and car hire in Lanzarote is readily available in all of the main holiday resorts.
