Jamaica, is the 4th largest island nation of the Larger Antilles, it is of 234 kilometers in length, up to 90 kilometers in width, and 10,980 square kilometers in area. It is situated in the Caribbean Sea. Jamaica is the 5th largest Island in the Caribbean. There are many numbers of botanical Gardens in Jamaica. This was established in the 19th century by the British. Castleton Botanical Garden is one of the gardens among them, was established in 1862 to replace the Bath Garden which was created in 1799. Bath Garden was the place for planting breadfruit carried to Jamaica from the Pacific. Other gardens like Hope Garden founded in 1874, Cinchona Plantation was found in 1868.
Dolphin Cove Jamaica:
Dolphin Cove Jamaica is a marine charm in Jamaica, where the people visit will swim with Dolphins, Stingrays and sharks in their natural sea water atmosphere. Tourists will also work together with other species including snakes, iguanas and a multiplicity of birds.
Green Grotto Caves:
The Green Grotto Caves are display caves and a conspicuous tourist attraction in Detection of Natural harbor. The inmost cavern contains a crystal-clear underground lake. At times where Jamaica was British Colony the caves were used as a den by the Spanish who were being obsessed out by the British pioneers.
Blue Mountains:
Blue Mountains form the lengthiest mountain range in Jamaica. This comprises of the island’s highest theme, Blue Mountain Peak which is of 2256 m. The Blue Mountains increase to these altitudes from the coastal plain in the space of about 16 kms. The island’s typical rainfall, which is much more in the mountain areas facing the north and east, will be 1,960 millimeters per year.
Martha Brae River:
The Martha Brae River is one among the river of Jamaica. It is located in Trelawney Parish on the north coast of Jamaica. The river features rafting. A small village which is west side of the river is named as Martha’s Bra as it is located nearby.
Doctor’s Cave Beach Club:
Doctor’s Cave Beach Club, has been one of the most famous beaches in Jamaica for almost a century. It is well-known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and near-white sand. Dr. Alexander James McCatty had originated a health resort in Montego Bay in the year 1880. In the year 1906 he donated the property to the public, which continues till today.
The Enchanted Gardens, Jamaica:
The Charmed Gardens is a resort near Ocho Rios in St. Ann, Jamaica. It is located in a natural river with 14 waterfalls on 8 hectares of terrestrial. There is a wide multiplicity of native plants and wilds like atmosphere.
Negril Lighthouse:
Negril Lighthouse was constructed in the year 1894 with 1.5 miles south east of the island by the French company. It is one of the primary tangible lighthouses. Automatic white light which is 100 ft above sea level sparkles for every two seconds. The light will be operated by gas initially and then switch to acetylene in 1956 and solar energy in 1985.
National Heroes Park:
National Heroes Park was founded in 1783, and also called as botanical garden. In 1905, the park was reconstucted at Knutsford Park, and the old one was renamed as “George VI Memorial Park” in honor of King George VI, U.K and transformed into a public park.
